JAMB delists 4 Osun State owned tertiary institutions on Aregbesola’s demand

JAMB has delisted 4 tertiary institutions owned by Osun State Government have been from its website for the next two academic sessions on the request of the state government over plans to
merge them.


They are Osun state Polytechnic Iree, College of Technology, Esa-Oke, College of Education, Ila Orangun, and College of Education, Ilesa. The over 50,000 students who applied for admission in the institutions will be denied admission.

The President of OSPOLY Alumni, Iree, Mrs. Mobola Odebode, said the state government has refused to listen to the voice of reasoning, stressing that Gov. Aregbesola is trying to obliterate polytechnic education in the state. Last week, the state government, sacked over 250 workers in Osun state Colleges of Education, Ila Orangun and Ilesa….. all ds PDP governors no go keepesin….
