Teen On Hoverboard Killed In Collision With Bus

Yesterday, a 15-year-old boy riding a hoverboard was killed after colliding with a bus in the U.K. He was found seriously injured and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The self-balancing scooters have

grown in popularity but they are controversial.

The Metropolitan Police has warned that a 180-year-old law means they can only be used on private land. Hoverboards are regarded as unsafe on British roads and cannot be licensed or registered under the Highway Act 1835. Cc: @oluwafabz
