Action film director Isaac Nabwana is putting Uganda on the map with a new thriller every month. His budget will put most filmmakers to shame.

The road to success comes through hard work, determination and sacrifice and that’s exactly what Isaac Nabwana is doing. Founder of Ramon film productions, the Ugawood producer has seen his movies become one of the most movies in Uganda.

Making movies on barely a budget of $200 each, they have been able to attract millions of views on Youtube and also got him a feature on international news agency Aljazeera.

In an exclusive interview with Aljazeera, the producer who is being refered to as the Uganda’s Michel Bay said,

‘Many people in Uganda come from the slams, so I normally focus on the life we go through in the movies. So if I put it in the movie and add some fiction, it becomes a movie for them.’
