Jaguar Land Rover recalls 104,000 cars over break problems and lights

The company which manufactures Range Rover cars are recalling thousands of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in the US over problems with brakes and lights.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in America issued notices on Friday, with a total of 104,000 vehicles being recalled.

According to Guardian UK, more than 70,000 Range Rovers are being recalled by Jaguar Land Rover North America due to fears that one or both front brake hoses on model 2006 to model 2012 cars could rupture, causing a loss of brake fluid.It is understood dealers will replace the brake hoses for free on the cars affected.

Range Rover and Range Rover Sports from years 2013 and 2014 are are being recalled over concerns that brake vacuum hoses may not have been fitted properly.

Almost 5,000 Jaguar XK cars from 2012 to 2015 will also be recalled over fears their sidelights may switch off after five minutes.
