Nigeria rental car operator sentenced to death in Malaysia

Alexis Zogbelemow, 36, was given the death penalty by the the Shah Alam High Court Malaysia for trafficking drugs about 4 years ago. Judge Datuk Akhtar Tahir meted out the sentence today after finding him

guilty of the offense involving 824.1gm of Methamphetamine.

The judge ruled that Alexis’ defence statement was fabricated and merely a denial. He ordered that he should be hanged until he dies. Alex was caught at 8.50 pm in the main arrival hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Sepang, on February 28, 2012.
