The former Governor of Oyo State, Rashidi Ladoja, says he got N100m from Chief Tony Anenih, ahead of last year’s general election, just as Afenifere front-liner, Olu Falae, and 2nd Republic Presidential Adviser, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, also said they received N100m and

N63m respectively from Anenih.

The former PDP BoT Chairman, Annenih, who allegedly got the money from Dasuki, had in a letter to EFFC, said he disbursed the funds to the trio. Yesterday, while speaking on behalf of Ladoja, Accord Party, in a one-page letter to the EFCC, said:

“We confirm that the sum of N100m was given to the party through our leader, Ladoja, after series of meetings with Anenih. The following issues were discussed at the meetings: The need to support GEJ since Accord had no Presidential candidate.

The need to ensure that peace was maintained to enhance peaceful movement during periods of campaign, elections and after the elections. The need for the PDP to support Accord campaign effort. The money was accordingly used for the purposes as stated above.”…. so leave Ladoja alone!…..
