Supposed assassins on Wednesday invaded the Sabo-Molode home of the Iyaloja-General of Ijebu-Ode, Alhaja Saida Elewuju and killed her. It was gathered that the over 80-year-old woman was hacked to death at about 3.00p.m by six assailants.
The deceased, it was further learnt, was rushed for medical attention at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu.
The market leader, was however, attended to at the hospital, before she was referred to the General Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos State, where she died.
