Buhari Kicks-off Campaign, Today in Rivers

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirant, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) will be in Port Harcourt this morning to flag off his campaign. The event will hold at the 40,000-capacity Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Igwuruta, near the Port Harcourt International Airport. Fixed for 9 a.m., the rally will be transmitted live on major television networks.

Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi is the Director-General of the Buhari campaign organisation, which met last night at the Rivers State Government House.

Colourful banners, billboards and posters of Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, were seen all over Port Harcourt yesterday. Some kerbs, roundabouts, junctions and other strategic locations in the Rivers state capital were also being repainted and beautified.
