“Our football is long dead and gone” – Okocha Reacts To Super Eagles Loss In Sudan

Former captain of the Super Eagles, Austine ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, has asked Nigerians not to blame either Stephen Keshi or the players, for their 1-0 defeat to Sudan on Saturday.
Bakri Abd Elgadir’s header in the first half, ensured that the African champions are yet to win a single game in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The result also puts Nigeria’s participation in next year’s tournament in doubt and Okocha says the problems did not just begin yesterday.
“Anyone that blames Keshi or the boys is short sighted. Our football is long dead and gone. This is just the confirmation” Okocha tweeted.
Nigeria are bottom of the group with one point and host Sudan next week Wednesday.
