World Cup Qualifier: Nigeria Battles Ethiopia on Sunday, 13th October




The Super Eagles of Nigeria had over two hours of training session today- with 18 players taking part, as the battle for starter’s shirts in the game against Ethiopia officially took off.

The roll call of players who trained on Tuesday evening include: Vincent Enyeama, Austin Ejide and Chigozie Agbim all goalkeepers; Efe Ambrose, Elderson Echejile, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Solomon Kwambe, Benjamin Francis and James Okuosa were the defenders in training.

Midfielders- John Mikel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi, John Ogu, Sunday Mba and Nnamdi Oduamadi; while strikers were Uchenna Nwofor, Obinna Nsofor and Ahmed Musa.
The training was very exciting as fans clapped for every move of the players and wished them well in Sunday’s encounter against Ethiopia.

Skipper Vincent Enyeama, noted that the Ethiopians will be no pushovers, but promised that he and his teammates will not let the nation down. Best of luck, Super Eagles!
