EMMANUEL EMENIKE ENDS GOAL DROUGHT FOR FENERBAHCE; SCORES WINNER AGAINST ERCIYESSPOR

Emmanuel Emenike has opened his goals account for Fenerbache after scoring in their 2-1 winover Kayseri Erciyesspor on Sunday evening.

The Nigeria international came on for Emre Belozoglu in the 77th minute with both teams tied at 1-1, and scored the winning goal for the visitors with a 90th minute strike, after heading in a cross from Dirk Kuyt.

Moussa Sow had given Fenerbache the lead in the ninth minute, but Randall Azofeifa equalized for the hosts in the 22nd minute.

Emenike had hit an unfortunate goal drought since joining Fenerbache from Spartak Moscow, as he had failed to score in his six previous games.

The 26 -year-old had however scored three goals in four games for Spartak Moscow before making the summer switch.

Fenerbache have now moved to the top of the Turkish Super League table with 19 points from eight games.

Joseph Yobo was not dressed for the game as he is still ruled out by injury.
