Tragedy struck at Mechanic Village in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, when four persons were killed on Friday as thunder struck
According to a witness, the incident occurred at Bukan-Sidi around 7:05 p.m. when the four men were about leaving their workshop following a downpour.
The witness said further that when the deceased noticed that it was about to rain, they decided to lock up their workshop and go home, but before they could leave the workshop thunder struck, killing them instantly.
The bodies of the victims had since been deposited at the Dahaltu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of the Nasarawa State Police Command, ASP Cornelious Ocholi, confirmed the story.
He said the police would investigate the matter.
